Critical Thinking Teacher (Reading and Writing)

Dipont Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Critical Thinking, Reading & Writing Teacher to join its ENREACH extra-curricular program in Shanghai. This full-time role is ideal for educators who are excited to help ambitious Chinese students develop the analytical, expressive, and persuasive skills essential for global success.

You will inspire young learners through a curriculum that combines critical reading, argument-based writing. Lessons are designed not only to build academic skills but to cultivate confidence, creativity, and global awareness in students aiming to study abroad.

Students you'll work with:

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in critical thinking, analytical reading, and academic writing for students aged 8 to 18.
  
• Foster an interactive, stimulating, and student-centered classroom environment.
  
• Design, plan, and evaluate lessons based on the ENREACH curriculum and individual student needs.
  
• Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and academic staff.
  
• Participate actively in meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
  
• Collaborate with a diverse team of local and international educators to enhance program quality.
• Design, develop, and adapt curriculum materials to meet the evolving needs of students and program objectives

Your Typical Schedule 

This full-time role requires a commitment from Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, balancing classroom teaching and lesson prep.

• Spring & Fall: Teach up to 18 hours per week, balancing weekday B2B courses with weekend classes at the center.
• Winter & Summer Camps: Focus on center-based teaching, with up to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
