Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science (formerly Nanwai King's College School Wuxi) is seeking to appoint a Director of Co-Curricular Activities and Sport to make a vital contribution to its vision of a learning community aspiring to excellence.
About the Role
This is a crucial role to provide leadership and drive excellence in implementation of our Co-Curricular Activities and Sports Programmes. Reporting to the Executive Principal, you will develop and deliver a five-year strategic vision for Co-Curricular Activities and Sport at Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science. You will also manage the Heads of Sport, Performing and Creative Arts (Music, Drama, Arts), as well as other activity leads as required for the coordination of whole school Co-Curricular Programme.
Background
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science was founded with the strong support of the Wuxi local government, through a partnership between two world-leading schools – Nanjing Foreign Language School, China and King’s College School, Wimbledon, UK – all of whom aimed to build a “school of the future” which focuses on providing well-rounded education. It opened in September 2018 with 750 pupils and has a current enrollment of just under 2,000 students. This remarkable growth is testament to the quality of the school, its exciting vision and the support of partners, parents and the wider community.

Job requirements
About you
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
Demonstrated interest in student development and optimism for students’ ability to learn and grow
Ability to learn and apply local Chinese educational standards as well as new technologies

Ability to collaborate, establish rapport and communicate in a Dual Language Immersion environment
