Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science, established through a partnership with King's College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is looking for an outstanding Teacher of Primary Art to join our school as soon as possible.
You will create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that introduce Primary students to a broad range of materials, techniques and artistic ideas, encouraging them to explore their creativity while building strong foundations in visual art.
Beyond the classroom, you will have opportunities to develop projects, celebrate student work through exhibitions and displays, and contribute your own ideas to the school's busy creative and co-curricular programme.

What You’ll Be Doing
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Primary Art lessons
Develop students' skills and confidence across a range of materials, techniques and creative processes
Encourage students to experiment, take creative risks and develop their own ideas
Plan and contribute to student exhibitions, displays and creative projects
Lead or support Art clubs, workshops and co-curricular activities
Contribute to the wider creative, pastoral and community life of the school
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Fine Art, Art & Design, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a closely related field
Recognized teaching qualification, license or certification, such as UK QTS/PGCE or an equivalent US, Canadian or Australian teaching credential
At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience
Experience teaching Art / Visual Arts at Primary School level
Strong understanding of age-appropriate creative and artistic development
Experience teaching within an international, bilingual, British or comparable Primary curriculum
Able to meet Chinese work-permit requirements
Able to join the school as soon as possible

About Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science opened in 2018 through a partnership between Nanjing Foreign Language School and King's College School, Wimbledon, with the support of the Wuxi local government. Since opening with 750 students, the school has grown to a community of just under 2,000 students.
Located in Wuxi's Binhu District, the campus combines modern learning spaces with extensive facilities, including a multi-purpose auditorium, sports complex, 50-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, boathouse and landscaped grounds.
