Dipont Huayao Collegiate School Kunshan is seeking an English and Global Languages Department Chair to join its diverse, enthusiastic and highly supportive community of teachers, working in a beautifully appointed and state of the art campus.
The English and Global Languages Department Chair at Dipont Huayao Collegiate School Kunshan plays a vital role in both the administrative and educational functions of the school. This role is responsible for overseeing and being accountable for the curriculum, assessment, teaching and learning in line with the Chinese compulsory education requirements for middle grades (7-9), and upholding the International curriculum standards utilized by both the middle and upper grades (10-12).

Job requirements
About you
Bachelor’s degree in English; Master’s degree preferred
Experience with AP preferred
Demonstrated interest in student development and optimism for students’ ability to learn and grow
Ability to learn and apply local Chinese educational standards as well as new technologies
Interest in and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Ability to collaborate, establish rapport and communicate in a Dual Language Immersion environment
