Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science, in partnership with King's College School, Wimbledon and RDFZ Beijing, is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Primary English to join our learning community.
We are recruiting on an ongoing basis through the end of 2026, with flexibility around the exact start date. The successful candidate may teach across Grades 1–6 and across both our Bilingual and International Divisions, according to the needs of the school.
We welcome applications from experienced Primary teachers who can deliver engaging and ambitious English teaching, building strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking and listening while nurturing students' confidence, creativity and enjoyment of the subject.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for an English teaching position, candidates should have:
Degree in English, English Literature, English Language, Primary Education, or a closely related field
Recognized teaching qualification, license or certification, such as UK QTS/PGCE or an equivalent US, Canadian or Australian teaching credential
At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience
Experience teaching English at Primary School level
Strong understanding of literacy development and age-appropriate English teaching
Experience teaching within an international, bilingual, British or comparable Primary curriculum
Able to meet Chinese work-permit requirements
What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your experience and school section, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging Primary English lessons across Grades 1–6, according to school needs
Teach students within the school's Bilingual and International Divisions
Develop strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking and listening
Build students' vocabulary, comprehension, grammar and written communication skills
Inspire a love of books, stories, language and creative expression
Use assessment and feedback to monitor progress and respond to individual learning needs
Contribute to reading initiatives, creative writing, storytelling and other English enrichment activities
