Dipont Huayao Collegiate School Kunshan is seeking a School Psychologist (Chinese Bilingual) to join its diverse, enthusiastic and highly supportive community of teachers, working in a beautifully appointed and state of the art campus for an August 2026 start.

About the Role

The role operates across Elementary and Secondary divisions and functions as a core member of the Student Success Team. The School Psychologist plays a crucial role in promoting the mental health and academic success of students in a K-12 educational setting. This position involves evaluating students' learning needs, providing psychological counseling, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development.

The School Psychologist will provide urgent counseling and schedule future sessions for students, using a multicultural approach and multimodal interventions such as group therapy, individual counseling, and crisis intervention. The role involves overseeing part-time counselors, developing self-help resources on stress management and coping strategies, and creating campus protocols for mental health emergencies. Additionally, the psychologist will conduct training for faculty and staff, share on-call duties for health emergencies, maintain confidential records, and perform other assigned counseling tasks.

About You

• Bachelor degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or in other related mental health counseling degree programs.

• At least 5 years relevant working experience.

• Preferably experience working in an international school environment.

• Good computer skills-including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

• Good level of written and spoken English is preferred.

• Confidence in working with a rich cultural mix of students and teachers.
