The Centre Principal role

In this important leadership position, you will manage one of our international curriculum centres in China. 

Our international programmes are delivered through specialized curriculum centres within each host school. We support a network of A-level, Advanced Placement program and IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) centres in cities across China.

With the support of the centre director and the Dipont head office education team, you will manage the day-to-day running of teaching activities in the centre and develop strategies for its future development.

Students in the center (aged 15 to 18) seek to gain entry at top universities overseas and are generally exceptionally motivated and high-achieving.

As Centre Principal, you will join a network of educators with a focus on collaboration, support and career development and engage in high-quality educational practice in one of the fastest-growing sectors globally.

Partnering with renowned high schools in China, Dipont Education provides complete management support in the operation of international high school programmes. Our management support includes:

• curriculum development
• academic quality management
• recruitment and management of expatriate teachers
• school-based college counseling.

Dipont-managed centres are located in a dedicated section of the host school and students transfer into the centers either in Grade 10 or Grade 11.

Grade 10 is a preparatory year. In our A-level and IBDP centres, students study for the iGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), while in our AP centres they study a pre-Advanced Placement programme. Students are enrolled full-time in our A-level and IBDP centres. For the AP programme, students continue with the Chinese curriculum and take AP courses additionally.

One of the key aims within each centre is to adequately prepare our students for successful university careers and for life overseas, in part developed through international teaching methods that encourage critical thinking, debate and application of learning.
